We offer free, confidential and independent advocacy support to Halton residents who need help to have their voice heard in relation to health and social care needs. -

Healthwatch Halton provides the NHS Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS) for Halton. The advocacy service helps people to understand how the NHS complaints process works and supports them where needed. -

Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy was introduced as part of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. This gives people who have an impairment, injury or a disability which results in them being unable to make a specific decision for themselves, the right to independent support and representation.
