We visited the Runcorn UTC twice, in November and December 2022, and spoke with 48 patients.

Summary
- For 1 in 3 it was their first visit to the UTC in the past 12 months
- 56% would have gone to A&E if there wasn't an Urgent Treatment Centre locally.
- 40% had travelled from outside Halton to come to the Urgent Treatment Centre
- Waiting times have increased in recent months
- 93% would recommend the service to friends and family.
