Carers views sought by Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, formally St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, are interested in hearing carers experience of hospital.
They would like to find out about your experience as a carer, whilst the person that you care for was in hospital, to enable them to make any improvements required.
.

Carers provide help and support, unpaid, to a family member, friend or neighbour who would otherwise not be able to manage without this support. The trust recognise the essential role played by carers, families and friends in supporting our patients

Carers are essential for the health and well-being of the person they care for and the trust recognise that patients who are supported by their carers have improved prospects of recovery and staying well. Their aim is to work alongside carers, and provide support and advice.

In order to do this, the patient Experience and Inclusion team have created a questionnaire for carers to find out about their experience in hospital. The team would really value your comments.
