A voice for Bridgewater NHS Trust children's services

Bridgewater are looking for families to join their new lived experience panel to help make local health services better for children and young people.

A lived experience panel is when people who use health services or who help look after someone with a healthcare issue come together with staff to decide how we can improve services.

Young people who are currently using Bridgewater health services, or have used Bridgewater services in the past two years, and their parent or carer will come together with staff. You will influence how health services are run, discussing what is working well and what needs to be better. A group will be a young person aged around 14+ and their parent/carer.

You will meet once every 1-2 months for the first year with options to get involved in-between meetings. It will take a few hours of your time per month. Families can step back from the panel at any time and training will be provided.

A list of services ran by Bridgewater can be found at: https://bridgewater.nhs.uk/
