Halton Local Area Partnership SEND Strategy 2025 event

Following the publication of the new Children and Young People Plan 2024-2027, Halton SEND Strategic Improvement Board are excited to develop the new Special Education Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) Strategy.

Halton SEND Strategic Improvement Board wants to give as many people as possible the chance to contribute to and co-produce the strategy. 

Who can take part? 


• Child or young person with SEND (0-25 years of age)
• A parent or carer of a child or young person aged 0-25 years with SEND 
• If you work with children, young people (0-25 years) with SEND or wider


The Halton SEND Strategic Improvement Board would like to invite you to take part in developing the Halton Local Area Partnership SEND Strategy. The board want to co-produce the strategy, to ensure that they take a joined-up approach to address the aims of the plan and develop common goals to ensure that:

• Locally, we grow together and work collaboratively in a structured way with a shared vision that works in the best interests of our children and young people.
• Local funding is supporting earlier identification and intervention and barriers are addressed that prevent access to earlier intervention.
• Local specialist support is of high quality and available when it is needed.
