Widnes UTC Feedback report - February 2023

Report - 14 March 2023

This report is based on feedback collected from 36 patients attending Widnes Urgent Treatment Centre on 16 November 2022 and 14 February 2023.
  • 44% of patients would have visited A&E if the UTC wasn't available
  • 90% of patients would recommend the service

‘Triage with a very experienced nurse practitioner was excellent. It was fantastic having somewhere to go urgently. With hindsight I should have dialled 111 and sought advice through that route. The advice I received was needed at the time. The person conducting the Healthwatch survey was fantastic too and it felt I mattered as a patient.’

A day in the life - Widnes UCC

On 3 December 2015 we visited Widnes Urgent Care Centre and spent the day speaking to patients using the centre.
We arrived at 7.30am and stayed at the UCC until close at 10.00pm.
