In April this year, elections will be held for public governors to represent the communities in Halton.

As a community trust, Bridgewater provides a wide range of services that support patients and their families, operating in health centres, clinics, patients' own homes, and local schools. The Trust works alongside colleagues in local hospitals, local authorities, and the voluntary sector, and is an integral part of many families lives and is valued and respected for its vital work in supporting them to lead happy, independent lives.

To be eligible to stand in the upcoming elections, individuals must be members of the Trust, at least 14 years old, and live within the constituency they wish to represent. Signing up for membership is simple—visit the Bridgewater website at www.bridgewater.nhs.uk/ft to access the members’ area and register online.

With nearly 2,000 members living and working in the Halton area, Bridgewater’s public governors are drawn from the communities served. They live alongside patients, families, and colleagues, and understand the value of the staff and services provided.
