Public asked to share their views and ideas for fixing the NHS.

A national conversation about the future of the NHS since its birth has been launched today by the Department of Health and Social Care, as the entire country is called upon to share their experiences of our health service and help shape the government’s 10 Year Health Plan.

Members of the public, as well as NHS staff and experts, are invited to share their experiences, views and ideas for fixing the NHS via the online platform, Change NHS, which will be live until the start of next year, and also available via the NHS App.  

The government wants to hear people's views, experiences and ideas as part of this engagement to help shape the 10 Year Health Plan for England. 

The NHS has been there for us for over 76 years. But to make sure the NHS is here for the next 76 years, doing all it can to support the health of everyone, the UK government are asking for your help. 

It doesn’t matter whether you have a lot or a little to say. Your views, experiences and ideas will shape a new 10 Year Health Plan for England. 

The survey is open to everyone. If you are a member of the public or someone who works in health and care in England, 'Start Here', to share how the NHS needs to change.

If you are contributing as a representative of an organisation, complete the organisation questionnaire. Organisation's responses must be received by Monday 2nd December at 17:00. This is an early opportunity to share your insights as the government begins an extensive programme of engagement to develop the 10 Year Health Plan.
