World Mental Health Day 2023
World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health. It’s also a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you are struggling.
Everyone has mental health and it affects every aspect of our lives and those around us. Evidence suggests there are 5 steps you can take to improve your mental health and wellbeing:
- Connect with other people
- Be physically active
- Learn new skills
- Give to others
- Pay attention to the present moment (mindfulness)

Supporting others

Mental Health Hubs
Find help and information on mental health and local support; for yourself or someone you know at the local Mental Health Hubs. The Hubs are ran by the Health Improvement Team and supported by local organisations. The Hubs are free and confidential.
- Drop into Runcorn Shopping City on the first Thursday of each month from 9am to 2pm.
- Drop into Green Oaks Shopping Mall, Widnes on the third Wednesday of the month; 9am-2pm.
