The Healthwatch Advisory Board (HAB) was created to give local people a stronger voice in ensuring the lived experiences of those using NHS and/or care services shapes the work of Healthwatch Halton. The HAB will work with staff & board members to identify local priorities & concerns and suggest actions for emerging issues.

Healthwatch Halton is  your local health and social care champion.  We are one of over 150 local Healthwatch across England. We’re here to listen to the issues that really matter to people in Halton and to hear about your experiences of using local health and social care services. We’re entirely independent and impartial, and anything you share with us is confidential.

HAB meetings take place bi-monthly and members will be expected to read papers in advance. There may also be additional or topic-based meetings, and the HAB may occasionally be asked to comment on decisions via email or telephone.

The role of HAB member is an unpaid voluntary role, although travel expenses can be reimbursed.

If you are interested in applying to volunteer with us in this role then please complete the application form below. Please refer to the role specification when filling in your application.
