Original feedback for

St Helens Hospital

Great department

I was referred to Ophthalmology by my GP and chose to go to St. Helens. I only had to wait about 4 weeks and had a choice of dates and times. Masks and hand gel were being given out on entering the hospital and my temperature was taken before entering the department. The staff in this department are very friendly and caring, from the Receptionist to the Consultant. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I would have liked more time to talk to the consultant. He seemed rushed and was already examining me when asking me questions. I was given new prescriptions on the day and waited about 30 minutes in the onsite pharmacy, I needed to call the clinic again later in the week and again they were very friendly and caring.
