Upset at the outcome of my visit.

This appointment I managed to get was way back at the end of 2018 (didn't realise I could leave feedback at the time, or wasn't up to it) . I had been feeling poorly for a couple of days and thought I might not be able to attend my husband's funeral the next morning. I managed to get this appointment by ringing at 8am. Anyway, I explained my worries to the doctor. There was no 'Sorry about your husband, let's see if I can help'. Just a very matter of fact 'you have a water infection'. Bedside manner NOT! I was really struggling with losing my husband (and very much still am). I had been to this doctor once before and on explaining my symptoms, he said to me 'Well, what do you want me to do?!" It can make so much difference to a person if the doctor can at least have a touch of sympathy - I'm hoping I don't need to go again very soon.

Extremely poor customer service

The surgery telephone system is totally inadequate in supporting their client base. Periods of up to 55 minutes calling and moving from position 9 to 2 in a matter of minutes, then on hold on position 2 for the balance of the time calling, then call drops!
Having had to register at various surgeries around the UK due to the job I do, this is by far the worst. I have tried for the last 3 days, without success, to connect with the surgery to secure an appointment. My only option is to drive to the surgery and face the cold reception and if lucky, walk away with a confirmed appointment. I have the highest respect for all of the UK medical professions during this challenging period, I just wish the delivery and service was consistent at grass roots surgeries.

Professional , helpful team

Despite additional pressures from covid pandemic, I have very positive experiences with the whole team. I contacted over a few issues and made a few requests but they listened and were happy to discuss and did not make me feel ridiculous. Great staff who went above and beyond to help. Their e consultation service is fantastic, very quick responses and calls arranged. Much quicker than phoning, I’d totally recommend them. Quality GP’s too, very caring. I work in healthcare and I think they’re brilliant. Many thanks

lack of transparency

conflicting advice from different GPs regarding vulnerable patients and complete secrecy about how many patients are vaccinated and which group they are now targeting. Other surgeries are keeping their patients fully informed every step of the way

Staff attitude could be better

The phone lines are constantly engaged of a morning. Access via the phones for appointments is appalling. I drive to the practice to get on the day appointment because lines are always engaged.

Hard to get appointment and no confidence

I find it hard to get an appointment with my GP. I call at 8am but by the time the phone is answered all the slots are full. I was offered an emergency call back this time but they could not tell me when it would be in the day and I was in terrible pain. I was in such pain that I had to attend A and E in the end.
I was previously misdiagnosed by a Doctor at this surgery, who thought I was ok but in fact needed a 3 day stay in hospital. I have on going medical problems but this does not seem to be considered.

Never the same Doctor

I would like to be seen by the same GP (I'm old school like that), but I've not seen the same doctor for a while now. When I'm told to make an appointment it is always four weeks - computer always says No!

Waiting times

Trying to get an appointment is hard work. I was told to phone at 8.00am and when I did I was told the appointments had all gone and to phone back the next day...the same happens again...a week later still no appointment!

Difficult to get appointment

It is difficult to get appointment when you need one , the staff are nice and I suppose it is not their fault , but it is very frustrating because every time I telephone them they have no appointments something needs to be done about it.
